  • Only fresh suet is suitable for baking. Experienced cooks do not recommend using salted or frozen products for this.

Lard baked in foil

Composition:

  • fat - 0, 8 kg;
  • Russian mustard - 50 g;
  • black pepper peas - 8 pcs .;

  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • bay leaf - 2 pcs.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash and carefully strip the fat, scrape the skin with a knife. Dry with a kitchen towel.

Composition:

  • fat - 1 kg;
  • garlic - 5 cloves;
  • coriander - 5 g;
  • paprika - 10 g;
  • Cumin - 5 g;
  • black ground pepper - 5 g;
  • salt - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Prepare slices of bacon for baking. To do this, you need to wash it in warm water, clean the skin.
  • Mix the salt with coriander, paprika, cumin and black pepper. Coriander and cumin can be used in seeds or ground - to your taste. Rub the mixture with bacon on all sides.
  • Cut the peeled garlic cloves into 2-3 pieces, and making shallow holes in the fat with a knife, stuff the piece.
  • Leave the bacon to marinate for half an hour.

Composition:

  • fat - 1 kg;
  • complex seasoning for pork with salt - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Salo wash, scrape, cut into pieces of such size that they easily pass into the neck of the jar.
  • Rub each piece with seasoning. Shake off the excess.
  • Place the pieces in the jar. It must be clean and completely dry.
  • Place the jar on a baking tray in a cold oven.
  • Turn on the oven. Let it warm up to 160 degrees. Make sure that the temperature in the oven does not rise above the specified mark. Bake lard in a jar for an hour.
  • Turn off the oven and allow the jar to cool gradually, without removing it from the oven until it is warm.

Lard prepared in this way can be stored in a refrigerator in the same jar as it was baked for 2-3 days. Before serving it can be warmed up, then it will be a hot snack.

Composition:

  • thin layer of fat with sandpaper - 0, 5 kg;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • fresh parsley - 50 g;
  • salt, seasonings - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash a piece of bacon thoroughly and dry it. Using a large sharp knife, separate the layer of fat from the skin, trying not to damage it.
  • Finely chop the peeled garlic cloves with a knife.
  • Cut the parsley.

Composition:

  • fat with layers of meat - 1 kg;
  • onions - 0, 4 kg;
  • ground coriander - 5 g;
  • ground black pepper - 5 g;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • mustard beans - 10 g;
  • bay leaf - 4 pcs .;
  • sugar - 10 g;
  • salt - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash and dry the fat with a paper towel.
  • Cut the garlic cloves into thin slices.
  • Peel onions, cut in half, cut into half rings.
