Useful minced meatballs - steam meatballs with peppers, onions and spices, without eggs and without bread. This dish is suitable for those who do not eat fried food or cook food without oil. The calorie content of lean meat is small, but some fat is still needed, because without it, meatballs turn out to be dry, despite the vegetables, which also add moisture. Ingredients for healthy minced meatballs
- 650 g of minced meat;
- 1 onion;
- 1 pod of sweet pepper;
- 50 ml of ice water;
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika;
- 1 teaspoon hop-suneli;
- 1 tablespoon dried sweet pepper;
- salt, black and white sesame, vegetable oil;
- chili and green onions for serving.
A way to make healthy minced meatballs
Chilled ready minced meat put in a deep bowl. Homemade minced meat usually consists of beef and pork with a little fat added. However, you can mix the meat to your taste and grind it in a meat grinder, choosing the ratio of products you like. It is advisable to install a nozzle with medium holes so that the meat does not grind very finely.
Chop the onion head very finely or rub it on a large vegetable grater, add to the minced meat.
A pod of sweet Bulgarian pepper is cleaned from seeds, cut into cubes. Add the chopped peppers into the bowl.
Now pour the ground paprika, salt to taste, add hops-suneli and dried sweet pepper. Seasoning can be taken a little more or less - a matter of taste.
Pour ice water into a bowl. Water should be cold, you can put it in the freezer for a few minutes before cooking.
Knead thoroughly. To make the meatballs tasty and juicy, the cutlet mass is beaten off or transferred from hand to hand when they are making meatballs.
We sculpt identical meatballs, the weight of one product is about 100 g, a little more or a little less - it does not matter, as long as everyone is the same.
Grease the steamer with vegetable oil so that the meat does not stick to the grill during cooking.
We spread meatballs on the grill, leave a little free space between them.
Sprinkle with black and white sesame seeds and ship to a pan filled with boiling water, close the pan tightly.
Cook for 20 minutes, do not open the lid in the process. You can throw a couple of bay leaves, celery or parsley root into the water, so the steam will be fragrant.
Serve healthy meatballs from minced meat on the table hot, sprinkle with green onions and chili rings. Enjoy your meal!
