Chicken meatballs in the oven - a recipe for simple and inexpensive chicken dishes with vegetables. You can bake in the oven at once all cooked meatballs, or put a piece in the freezer, so that the house has a supply of delicious homemade meatballs. At the right time, it will only be necessary to defrost them, bake them in an oven, or stew them in a brazier. For a variety of menus, you can prepare different sauces for this dish - tomato, creamy or classic white sauce. On the side dish I advise you to apply mashed potatoes - a constant companion of meatballs.

Ingredients for cooking chicken meatballs in the oven:
- 1 kg of chicken meat;
- 200 g of boiled rice;
- 200 g white cabbage;
- 10 g onions;
- 80 g sweet bell pepper;
- 1 chili pod;
- 60 g ground crackers;
- salt, pepper, vegetable oil for frying.
A way to cook chicken meatballs in the oven.
We split a little chicken. Cut off the wings, legs, cut ridge. These pieces of chicken leave for broth.
We remove the skin from the chicken. In the center of the breast we make two deep longitudinal cuts, cut the fillets from the bones. Also remove the skin and meat from the hips. The skin is not needed, it is added to the minced meat produced by the industrial method, and when we prepare for ourselves, we should not save money on the quality of the products.
Cut into cubes breast and hips. If you get tendons and fat - remove.
Making minced meat. You can grind it in a meat grinder, chop it with a sharply sharpened knife on a cutting board, or grind it in a processor. The latter method significantly reduces the cooking time, so I use a blender.
Finely chop the onion for meatballs, passe in a mixture of vegetable and butter to a translucent state, cool to room temperature.
Mix in a deep bowl, minced chicken, ground crackers, browned onions, finely chopped sweet Bulgarian pepper and chilli pod. If you cook for a family with children, and kids do not eat spicy food, chili should not be added.
Rub on a large grater or chop white cabbage in a blender. Add cabbage to the rest of the ingredients.
Then put cold boiled rice, sprinkle salt to taste, pepper it with ground black pepper.
Carefully knead the minced meatballs. You can put it on the board and knead with your hands so that all the ingredients stick together well.
Use wet hands to make small oval meatballs. We place parchment for baking on a baking sheet, grease it with vegetable or olive oil for frying. We spread the meatballs, leaving between them an empty space so that they do not press close to each other.
Heat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius. We put the baking sheet in the center of the oven, bake for 7-8 minutes, then take out the baking sheet, turn over, cook about 5 more minutes.
To the table, chicken meatballs are served hot, decorate the dish with fresh herbs, sprinkle with pepper to taste. Chicken meatballs in the oven are ready. Enjoy your meal!
