Hot sandwiches with meatballs in the oven - a simple and tasty dish to cook it, first you need to fry those meatballs, without which nothing will work. In my recipe for sandwiches, all the products are homemade - minced meat for pork cutlets bought from a friend in the market butcher. White bread or a loaf bake itself is not difficult. Tomatoes from my garden, homemade mayonnaise now no longer mixes just lazy - I cook it in a blender so that there is a supply (it is stored for a week).
Someone will say that for such a simple recipe as sandwiches, too much preliminary preparation, but this is how to look! We stretch the process in time - you can fry homemade meatballs for dinner, bake fresh bread or a baguette for breakfast, and keep in the fridge a supply of delicious homemade sauce - just a good habit of the hostess. Ingredients for making hot sandwiches with meatballs:
- 500 g of pork;
- 60 g onions;
- 80 ml of milk;
- 100 g breadcrumbs;
- 50 mayonnaise;
- 120 g tomatoes;
- 300 g of white bread or a loaf;
- 30 grams of mustard seeds;
- spices for meatballs;
- ground paprika, oil for frying, salt, greens for serving.

So, we start with cutlets for sandwiches. Pork pulp cut into large cubes, be sure to add a little pork fat (about 1/4).
Meat for meatballs shifts into a blender, with which you can very quickly make stuffing. If you are not too lazy to mess around, then a meat grinder will also work - you will need a nozzle with small holes.
Several pulsed inclusions of the blender grind the pork until smooth.
100 g of white bread cut into cubes, peel the onions. Add bread and onions to the blender, pour the milk, grind.
Add the minced salt, spices for meatballs or meat, knead well, put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
We form small round patties about 2 centimeters high.

Heat the vegetable oil for frying in the pan. Fry cutlets for 4 minutes on each side until golden brown. White bread or loaf cut into pieces with a thickness of 1, 5 centimeters, dried in a toaster until golden brown.
In a piece of bread, we put a teaspoon of corn mustard, on top — cutlets.
Cut tomatoes into thin circles, put on sandwiches, pour with mayonnaise.

Grease the baking tray with butter, pack sandwiches. Heat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius. Put a bowl of boiling water on the lower shelf of the oven so that the bread does not dry out when baking. Send the pan to the heated oven for 7-8 minutes.
To the table, sandwiches with meatballs are served hot, before serving, decorate with greens and sprinkle with ground paprika.
Sandwiches with meatballs, prepared according to this recipe, are not fatty - the oil will not drain along the hands, but they will not be dry either - the secret is in a bowl of water that boils, evaporates and creates the effect of a steam room.
