If you like vegetables and you like meat, then surely often cook various stews and something meat for them - cutlets, goulash, meatballs and so on. And what if you combine these two options. Vegetable stew with meat, it is tried and not once. But vegetable stew with meatballs is something new and very tasty.
It turns out juicy, tasty (well, absolutely unconditional), satisfying (which will greatly delight men) and beautiful! We will cook the stew in the slow cooker, so our participation in cooking is minimal.
Meatballs are made from any kind of minced meat. There are only a few nuances in the preparation. Chicken meatballs are better not to fry, they will be cooked during stewing. But ground beef and minced pork meat reveal their taste better after roasting. Therefore, meatballs from these types of minced meat is better to fry.
Just say a few words about a set of vegetables for stews. There is already where to roam fantasy. Look in your bins and choose what you like or what you have now. We take the standard set - potatoes, carrots, onions and cabbage. These vegetables just have to be in the closet of each housewife, because it is the basis for many dishes. But in addition to this golden four, you can add any other vegetables - zucchini, tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, cauliflower, broccoli and more.
Potatoes - 6 pcs .;
Carrots - 1 pc .;
Onions - 1 pc. Cabbage - 1/2 head;
Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l .;
Minced meat - 300 g;
Egg - 1 pc .;
semolina - 50 g;
Tomato juice - 300 ml;
Salt and pepper to taste;
Greens - at will.
Onions and carrots clean and cut into cubes. Pour a little bit of vegetable oil into the bowl. In the panel, select the mode “Frying” or “Baking”. Fry the vegetables for 5-7 minutes.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. If the potatoes are small and young, you can simply wash them well and put them in the crock-pot. Fry another 5-7 minutes minutes.
Cook the minced meatballs. Twist the meat through the meat grinder. In the finished stuffing add egg and semolina. Forget to add spices - salt and pepper - this is the minimum set.
We roll up the minced meatballs and fry them separately in a frying pan. It takes literally 5 minutes. Make the maximum fire, we need to grab the minced meat a little.
Now add the cabbage and fried meatballs.
Add tomato juice and spices.
Select the mode “Quenching” cooking time 30 minutes. Close the lid and enjoy the rest. At the end of cooking, you can add a couple of cloves of garlic and fresh herbs.
Vegetable stew can be served immediately.
