It’s not difficult to make a waffle cake. But to cook it delicious, there is another question. Therefore, despite the simplicity of the recipe, we decided to photograph everything in detail so that there were no questions left.
Separately, we want to talk about add-ons:
Nuts In the cream, you can add any nuts - walnuts, cashews or peanuts, and others. The main thing is to dry them a little and peel them. Then the nuts must be chopped - with a knife or in a mixer bowl.
Various fruits. The best suited bananas, as they will not let the juice. But other types of fruit will work too.
Other additives may be in the form of dried fruit or coconut chips.
And also a few words about the cream:
Jam. Yes, yes, it is homemade jam that you have prepared yourself or your beloved grandmother gave you. This option cream can be called super-economical. But the cake at the same time turns out very tasty. The main thing is that the jam was not very liquid.
Custard. It will need to add oil. Cake with this cream will be very gentle.
Curd cream. This cream should not be applied in a thick layer, but the cake will turn out delicious.
Waffle cake - 1 pack (9pcs.);
Boiled condensed milk - 1 can (400 g);
Sour cream - 3 tbsp. l
Oil - 200 g;
To cook condensed milk (if you suddenly did not find it on the shelves of shops), you need only a pan and water. Put condensed milk in cold water and put on gas. Bring water to a boil, reduce gas and cook for 1-1.5 hours. After a while, allow the jar to cool directly in the water. All boiled condensed milk is ready.
For those who have found boiled condensed milk, the recipe is just beginning. Combine all condensed milk and sour cream with softened butter.
Mix well so that the mass is homogeneous. In the cream can get lumps (as we have in the photo), this means the oil is not softened enough.
We take one cake and grease it with a thin layer. But not too fat. Then we put the second cake on the first one and grease it with cream again.
So we collect the whole cake. You can leave one cake to make a crumb - smash it and sprinkle the cake.
We finished the cake with melted chocolate. Hide the cake in the fridge for a couple of hours so that it is soaked with cream.
