Every hostess at least once faced with the question - what to cook for lunch (dinner, breakfast). This is akin to a joke - the most difficult thing in cooking is choosing what to cook. So often it happens that cooking festive dishes is easy, but everyday life baffles. Sometimes there is not enough strength or imagination for something new from the usual products.
There is a way out, today we invite you to cook potatoes with canned meat. But this is a simple and not ordinary dish, we cook it in a completely new way and supplement it with a green pot. After all, many use stew for the preparation of a dish.
Potatoes - 1 kg;
Stew - 1 can (400-500 g);
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp. l .;
Green Peas - 100 g;
Onions - 1 pc .;
Carrots - 1 pc .;
Vegetable oil - 30 ml;
Spices - laurel, salt, black pepper.
Let's start cooking our dish by cleaning the potatoes. We cut it into a maximum of 4 parts. Fill with water and put on fire.
When the water boils, reduce the heat and detect 10 minutes. After drain the water. We need half-baked potatoes. While the potatoes are hot, season them with your favorite spices and mix well. Cover the potatoes with a lid. While onions and carrots are fried, the potatoes will soak in the aroma and taste of herbs.
Chop onion in half rings or cups. Carrot slices straws. For lovers of spicy, add 4-5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped into the pan. You can also add chili peppers.
Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes.
Now you can add potatoes to the pan.
Fry everything for a couple of minutes and add the stew. Better to pre-knead it with a fork.
Add tomato paste mix.
Pour water or potato broth into the pan so that it almost covers the potatoes. Boil the mixture and try on the salt. Add your favorite spices to your taste.
Add green peas, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until potatoes are ready (depends on the variety).
Potatoes can be served directly to the table as a separate dish.
