Butter or margarine for baking - 250 g;
Sour cream with a fat content of at least 15% - 230 g;
Flour - 500 grams.
We will make shortbread dough, there is nothing difficult in it, although this is already some kind of higher science. If you have a mixer bowl, then put cold butter in it, cut into pieces and add flour, grind, and then add sour cream. The dough is ready.
For those who are deprived of such a wonderful technique, we will tell you how to do it by hand. The oil is cooled as much as possible (but not in the freezer). Cut it in small pieces. Add flour to it.
Put on gloves and quickly mash the flour and butter into a crumb. The bottom line is that the oil does not start to melt. Those. you need to do this quickly, or you can put a bowl of dough in a bowl with ice. Then the oil will not have time to melt.
We add to a crumb cold sour cream.
Thoroughly mix everything with a spoon or with your hands. We form a ball and hide it in the fridge for half an hour.
After a specified time, we take out our dough and divide it into 4 parts or 6 parts. We work with one, we send the rest in the refrigerator. Roll out the dough thinly in a circle.
Divide it into 8 parts. Fold the dough from the edge to the center. If you decided to make bagels with a filling, then put a little stuffing on a wide edge and twist as shown in the photo. Edges can be pressed so that the filling does not flow out.
Spread bagels, and bake and bake for 20 minutes at 220 degrees.
