Salad with ham, Peking cabbage and quail eggs is a variation on the classic Caesar salad, which my family agrees to eat from morning to evening, and, surprisingly, the dish is not boring. The salad is based on the traditional combination of meat, juicy cabbage and tomatoes with crispy crackers, all of which are seasoned with a spicy sauce, in a word, simple, inexpensive and very tasty.
A salad with ham, Chinese cabbage and quail eggs is suitable for a light romantic dinner, and for a daily lunch. Prepare a salad with ham should be immediately before serving, so that the croutons are not soaked and preserved their crispness, since an important secret of taste is a variety of textures.

Ingredients for cooking salad with ham, Chinese cabbage and quail eggs:
- 250 g low-fat ham;
- 200 g of Peking cabbage;
- 130 g tomatoes;
- 150 grams of white bread;
- 20 g of dill;
- 6 quail eggs;
- Greens and red chilli pod for serving.

- 15 ml of soy sauce;
- 15 g of Bavarian mustard;
- 50 ml of Greek yogurt;
- 15 ml of olive oil;
- salt, sugar, black and red pepper.
Method of cooking salad with ham, Chinese cabbage and quail eggs
Let's start with crackers. With white bread, cut off the crust, cut the crumbs into cubes of a little less than a centimeter. For this salad recipe with ham, it's better to take yesterday's stale bread, it can be sliced smoothly and beautifully.
We heat the oven to 200 degrees, pour the bread onto a non-stick baking sheet. Dried croutons until golden brown, if desired they can be sprinkled with olive oil and mixed with a garlic clove missed through a press. However, for a romantic dinner, garlic is probably not suitable.
Now we make a salad dressing with ham. We put Greek yogurt and Bavarian mustard in a deep bowl, add soy sauce and olive oil. Take a good oil first spin, it will taste better. Add salt, sugar, black and red pepper to taste. Mix the ingredients until smooth.
Next, grind the salad products. Low-fat ham cut into cubes. Diced ham and bread should be about the same size.
Cut the tomatoes in half, extract the seeds. Tomato pulp cut finely. If you leave the seeds, the salad turns wet, and it does not look appetizing.
Chop cabbage leaves with thin strips; the thinner, the tastier.
Put ham and sliced vegetables in a salad bowl, add dried bread and a bunch of finely chopped dill.
Pour the sauce in a salad bowl. I recommend dressing sauce with the sauce immediately before serving, so that the ingredients do not soften.
Mix well the products so that all the pieces are covered with dressing.
Quail eggs cook hard-boiled, cool, clean, cut in half. We put lettuce on a plate with a hill, decorate with halves of eggs, fresh greens and hot chili pepper rings, if you like the food “with a twinkle”. Salad with ham, Chinese cabbage and quail eggs is ready. Enjoy your meal!
By the way, instead of Peking cabbage, this salad can be cooked with any leaf salad, and instead of ham, take smoked or boiled chicken breast.
