Cooking Method for Halloween Kitty Witch
Making the dough. Rub the butter with powdered sugar or fine sugar until smooth, add a raw yolk (preferably from a large egg), then a spoonful of cream or milk. Separately, mix wheat flour with vanilla and ground cinnamon, combine both mixtures, knead the dough. It can be wrapped in foil or film and stored in the freezer for a month.
To cut Kitty from dough, you first need to make a paper template. The figure shows the height of the cookies in centimeters, and the internal lines are needed to apply the glaze on the cookies.
Dough divided into small pieces, the same size. We take one piece (the rest at this time is better to keep in the refrigerator), roll out a layer of 6-7 millimeters in the size of 15x15 centimeters. Cut the witch Kitty in a pattern, transfer it to a baking sheet covered with a silicone mat. Then cut out the rest of the cookies.
Heat the oven to 165-170 degrees Celsius. We bake 10-12 minutes. Cooked ready-made cookies on a baking sheet, not removing!
Cooking icing. In a deep bowl, rub the raw protein with powdered sugar to obtain a very thick, bright white mass. In this way the easiest way to make a sweet paint for drawing. From cellophane we turn kornetik, fill it with white icing and draw a sketch of a witch's face and paws on cookies.
The next color of the glaze can be applied to the cookie in about 15-20 minutes. We add a black food dye to the part of the white glaze, paint the hat, draw the mantle of the witch. For the panicle, which every self-respecting witch has, you will need a little yellow glaze. We draw a broom and nose button when the black mantle dries.
On the black hat must be the most recognizable part of Kitty's wardrobe - her red bow. Mix red glaze and make bows to all witches.
We draw eyes and whiskers with a black food marker, approximately 30 minutes after applying the last layer of glaze.
We put the ready-made baby cookies “Witch Kitty” in a place out of reach of children for 10 hours. Despite the fact that the top layer of glaze seems quite durable, inside it is damp. You can spoil all the work by accidentally damaging the drawing. You can dry cookies with glaze only at room temperature, never use an oven for this!
