Cooking method for Valentine's shortbread “Hearts”:
Prepare the shortbread dough: sift the flour in a bowl, add sugar and softened butter, cut into pieces.
Grind ingredients by hand. First you have a baby. Keep kneading the dough, and the little one is blind in one ball. If the dough crumbles, add some soft butter. If, on the contrary, sticks to your hands, add a little flour. The dough is soft, does not crumble, but does not stick. Put the dough in the fridge for 15 minutes. In the meantime, you can click and clear the nuts for decoration. It will be delicious with any: walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts or cashews.
With the dough out of the refrigerator, lightly sprinkle the table and baking tray with flour. Roll out the dough into the cake from 0, 5 to 1 cm thick. Thin biscuits are baked faster and more crispy, and the thicker ones will be baked a little longer, but it will turn out crumbly.
Cut cookies from the dough into a cookie cutter in the shape of a heart and gently, since the cookies are very tender, we place them on a baking sheet. While you are making cookies, turn on the oven - let it warm to 200 ° C.
At this stage you can sprinkle cookies with cinnamon or vanilla sugar, if you do not want to make chocolate icing. It is necessary to mix in a saucer 1, 5-2 tbsp. l sugar and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon (or 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar), or sugar with chopped nuts, sprinkle each cookie and slightly press the sprinkling with your finger so as not to sprinkle.
