Onion pancakes - delicious pancakes on kefir with green onions. It’s hard to come up with something simpler than pancakes with green onions. They prepare in just half an hour, all they have to do is roll them up and serve them to the table. Ingredients for pancakes with green onions
- 200 ml of kefir or sour milk;
- 80 g green onions;
- 150 g wheat flour;
- 50 grams of oatmeal;
- 5 g of soda;
- 30 ml of olive oil;
- 20 g butter;
- 100 g sour cream;
- a bunch of dill;
- salt, vegetable oil for frying.
A method of cooking pancakes with green onions
Pour kefir or sour milk into a deep bowl, even highly peroxidated dairy products are suitable. If you have a little sour cream, then it is also suitable for this recipe, it will turn out very lush pancakes.
Add about a teaspoon of coarse salt and a raw egg; mix it so that the egg and kefir are combined and the salt dissolves.
Finely chop the green onions, its amount can be any, but usually the more, the tastier.
Pour wheat flour and soda to make pancakes airy, sift flour better through a fine sieve, it will loosen it.
Add oatmeal, pour olive oil. Knead the dough, intensively stir it is not necessary, just stir so that there is no lumps of flour.
Immediately bake pancakes with green onions. Heat the cast iron pan, grease with vegetable oil for frying. For one pancake enough 2-3 full tablespoons of dough.
We bake pancakes for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown, fold them in a pile, grease with butter.
For pancakes with green onions, make a sauce - chop a bunch of dill finely, put this greens in a mortar, add salt to taste, and grind until green juice appears. Mix the grinded dill and sour cream.
In the middle of the pancake with green onions, pour the dill sauce, put a few onion feathers, roll them up and cut them with bamboo skewers. Immediately serve to the table.
