Fried sausage in a pan with country-style potatoes - a delicious hot dish that can be simply and quickly prepared for dinner or lunch. Despite the simplicity, it turns out a main dish that is beautiful, tasty and worthy of a friendly gathering, which is suitable for a glass of vodka, and with a glass of ice beer will be appropriate. Pork sausages, which the peasants called “shoved with a finger,” are nowadays easy to get, not like before, at a time when there were no meat grinders or nozzles for sausages. The peasants filled their guts by hand, hence the name.
You can cook a pork sausage dish or choose any other variety that you like and can afford.
Cook better in a large skillet without a lid. Stewed sausages with gravy are also tasty, but crispy ones look more appetizing and turn out juicy.
Potatoes need to be cooked on the stove at the same time as cooking roast or boil it until cooked beforehand.

- 600 g pork sausage;
- 600 g potatoes;
- 100 g onions;
- 150 g of sweet pepper;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- 130 g sour cream or heavy cream;
- 1 tablespoon of ground sweet paprika;
- bunch of greens;
- salt, pepper, lard or frying oil.
Method of cooking fried sausage in a pan with country-style potatoes
Cut into large half rings onions. In the pan melt pork fat or heat the vegetable oil for frying, throw the onions, quickly fry.
Usually the sausage is sold as sausages, in a whole, uncut gut. Uncut sausages are hard to turn over, so we cut the intestine with scissors, put the sausages in the pan, fry on both sides.
Cut the pod of sweet, fleshy pepper in half, remove the stalk with seeds, rinse with running water. If you like hot food, then in addition to Bulgarian pepper, add chopped chili pod.
Peeled peppers cut into cubes, throw in the pan.
Fry on low heat for 25 minutes, periodically turn over the sausages so that they brown evenly. Next, add sour cream or heavy cream, skip the garlic teeth through a garlic press, salt, pepper to your taste, simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
New potatoes with washcloth with abrasive, boil in peel until done, cut small tubers in half, large - into four parts.
Throw boiled potatoes in the pan, cook everything together for a few more minutes.
Finely chop a bunch of fresh greens - parsley, cilantro, green onions, dill. Sprinkle sausage with potatoes with greens and ground sweet paprika.
Serving fried sausage with potatoes on the table is right in the pan, it tastes better, because refined tableware is not appropriate in the rustic kitchen.
