Time to cook the most delicious and simple dessert of late spring and early summer - strawberries with sour cream! To prepare such a simple dish can be different. The easiest way is to just pour sour cream in a bowl, pour sugar in a saucer and then alternately dunk strawberries there. But if you try and devote a little more time to preparing a summer dessert, you will have a very beautiful dish, surprisingly homely and to the delight of the children.

This is the rare case when it is not only tasty, but also useful. Imagine: in five medium-sized strawberries as much vitamin C as in a big orange! It is enough to eat 100 grams of berries - and the daily plan for ascorbing will be even a little overfulfilled.

For 2 servings:

  • 250 g of fresh ripe strawberries;
  • 2-3 tbsp. l sugar (adjust the sweetness to your taste);
  • 2-3 tbsp. l sour cream or thick cream;
  • A sprig of fresh mint.

Strawberry berries grow close to the ground, so that they can remain on the ground, especially after heavy rains. Therefore, before cooking dessert, carefully wash the berries. First, put the strawberries in the water, let it stand for five minutes: the earth will soak off the berries and sink to the bottom of the dish. Then gently catch the berries, put in a colander and rinse under running water.

We clean the strawberries from the tails. Put the berries in a blender, add sugar and grind to obtain strawberry puree. You can add a couple of leaves of mint - then the taste of the dessert will be unusual, with mint notes.

Put the mashed potatoes in a bowl and draw on top with sour cream (cream) concentric circles or spiral. To draw smoothly, it is more convenient to use sour cream from the package, cutting off a small corner.
