  • basil - 4 twigs;
  • mint - 6 branches.

Method of preparation:

  • Strawberries, having washed and dried, free from sepals, put them in an enamel container, add sugar.
  • Leave overnight, covering with gauze so that the berry launches juice.
  • Add lemon zest, sprigs of mint and basil.
  • Heat on medium heat, reduce the intensity of the flame and cook for 5 minutes, removing the foam.
  • Temporarily remove from heat. Wait until the jam has cooled to room temperature.
  • Place on the stove again and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the greens. Jam spread on sterilized jars, roll up.

Strawberry jam with mint and lemon

The composition (1, 75 l)

  • strawberries - 1 kg;
  • sugar - 0, 8 kg;
  • lemon - 1 pc .;
  • mint - 4 sprigs.

Method of preparation:

  • Pour the prepared strawberries with sugar. Leave on for how many hours, so that the berry launches juice.
  • Add mint, squeeze lemon juice into a container of berries, mix with a spatula, being careful not to damage the berries.
  • Put on fire. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, removing froth protruding on the surface.
  • Remove from heat, cover with a cloth and leave for 2-3 hours.
  • Return to the fire, boil for 10 minutes. Spread on prepared banks, removing mint sprigs. Hermetically cork them.

Strawberry jam with mint and oranges

Composition (2 liters):

  • strawberries - 1 kg;
  • oranges - 0, 3 kg;
  • sugar - 1 kg;
  • mint - 50 g.

Method of preparation:

  • Retract berry, wash, dry. Fold in the pelvis, add sugar. Cover with gauze and leave for several hours until the juice released from the strawberry dissolves almost all the sugar.
  • Stir the berry mass with a spatula, bring to a boil over high heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes, removing the foam. Remove from heat, leave to infuse for 3-4 hours.
