New Year's table without champagne, like a snowman without a carrot or a Christmas tree without a star. This drink is bought, opened, poured into glasses, but few people think about the right snack.
Most often limited to festive sandwiches or salads, which is a big mistake. Champagne has a refined taste. It is important to emphasize, not drown.
What has not been eaten yet?
Champagne is an aperitif. It is usually served before meals or at the very beginning. Sparkling wine is not consumed on a full stomach. Also, it does not bite with bitter chocolate, as many have become accustomed to do. But you can submit candy with fruit and berry fillings, caramel, fudge inside.
What else is combined champagne:
- Cheese. You can whole plate with different types. It is believed that rich cheeses are served to sweet champagne. Simple varieties are suitable for dry wine (Camembert, Brie).
- Fruits. To champagne, you can serve cutting of kiwi, pineapple, peach, soft pears, bananas. Strawberries are allowed. Hard fruits are not served.
- Meat. It is customary to serve it with pink champagne, but it also goes well with white sparkling wines.
- Seafood. Squids, shrimps, octopuses are suitable for all types of dry and sweet wines. They can be served separately or in canapés, tartlets with other ingredients.
- Nuts. Someone might be surprised at such a snack, but it's worth a try! We collect a nut plate of 5-6 species and it's done! Snacks are suitable for all types of brut to sweet champagne.

Snack with cheese and tomato

- It is most convenient to melt chocolate in a water bath. Put a bowl on a saucepan with hot water, throw broken tiles or special droplets into it. Heat, stir. No need to perederzhivat. Too hot chocolate will flow, it will make a thin layer. Slightly warm icing will be thick, it may not be enough.
- While the chocolate is melted, put the washed and dried strawberries on skewers.
- Checking the icing. If it is ready, then turn off the stove, but do not remove the bowl, keep it on the saucepan with water. We dip on one strawberry berry and take it out. Spread on parchment or stick in a bowl with sugar.
This is the base case. You can decorate the glaze with nuts, small sweets, special dragees. To do this, dip or sprinkle immediately, until the chocolate froze.
Canape with shrimp and orange
Seafood blends perfectly with citrus fruits, and together they will be a great snack for champagne. The recipe for simple miniature sandwiches with a gorgeous view. Serve them better on a green leaf of lettuce or on a white plate. Such substrates will emphasize the color of the snack.
