Canape - tiny one-bite sandwiches, bonded for convenience by a bamboo skewer. Once small slices of toasted bread were smeared with pate and served to a cocktail, and so that guests would not soil their hands, they would come up with stringing such sandwiches on skewers.
Over time, fruit, vegetable and very complex, “heaped” canapés from 1 to 7 centimeters in height appeared - whole constructions of various ingredients. This is a very convenient type of cold snack - popular, beautiful, festive.

- 50 g of salted salmon;
- 30 grams of cheese;
- 20 g butter;
- 2 sprigs of dill;

Cut a thick piece of salted salmon into 6 identical slices approximately 2 centimeters wide (a little more or a little less, it depends only on your desire).

Making dill oil. We tear off the fennel sprigs from the stem, chop finely, add to the softened butter.
We sprinkle a few grains of fine salt, mash the oil with greens to form a homogeneous mass, cool slightly in the refrigerator so that the oil does not spread, but it is also easy to spread on bread. We spread slices of bread with dill oil, on each slice we make a layer of butter of the same thickness.
Put salmon on a layer of butter. By the way, you can cook these canapes with any red fish - trout, salmon, chum. The main thing is that the fish was oily.
On the fish we put on a piece of cream cheese.
On the cheese lay out a coffee spoon of red caviar. A lot of caviar is not needed, just a drop for decoration, because both cheese and salmon are salty enough.
