Sandwiches with sprats on the holiday table - budget holiday sandwiches, which, despite their simplicity, are incredibly popular. Quite a lot of cold snacks from ancient Soviet times to this day can be found on the New Year's table. But several recipes are so firmly rooted in the festive menu that it can already be called a tradition. Olivier with a doctor's sausage, herring under a fur coat, fake caviar from herring with carrots, sandwiches with red caviar, fish in jelly and, of course - sandwiches with sprats.

My recipe is good because the bread, toasted in a certain way, does not get stale for a long time and does not soak, the sandwiches remain fresh, appetizing, and the oven is not needed to make them.

Ingredients for sprats sandwiches

  • 1 can of sprats;
  • 2 chicken eggs;
  • 4 quail eggs;
  • 30 grams of cheese;
  • a small bunch of dill;
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise;
  • 1 tablespoon of cheese sauce;
  • wheat-rye bread;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • black pepper, vegetable and butter.

Method of cooking sprats sandwiches

Making toast. Wheat-rye bread cut into slices about a centimeter thick. We break one chicken egg in a bowl.

Salt the egg, add freshly ground black pepper and mix with a fork to achieve a uniform consistency. It is not necessary to beat in foam, it is good enough to mix the egg.

Now we dip a slice of bread in a beaten egg, first on one side, then on the other side.

Heat vegetable and butter in a pan. Fry the slices of bread until golden brown on each side. Roasted bread rubbed garlic clove.

Boil a hard-boiled egg, cool it with a grater. A small bunch of dill finely chopped, leave a few branches for decoration.

Add cheese sauce and mayonnaise, grated cheese and chopped dill to the boiled egg.

Carefully grind the ingredients with a fork to form a thick, uniform paste paste.

Boil hard-boiled quail eggs, it takes no more than two minutes to cook them. Cool the eggs in cold water, clean, cut in half.

We spread slices of toasted bread with cheese paste. A layer of pasta can be thick - it is very tasty!

Spread on each sandwich for three fish. The paste is viscous, so they are well fixed on the sandwich and will not fall from it (on the way to the mouth).

We decorate sandwiches with quail egg halves and dill sprigs.

The younger generation can and chooses a salad with seafood, but recently saw a comment from a young friend who was offended by attacks on Russian salad.
