There is an opinion that it was his recipe that was taken as the basis for the Countess Bronislava Pototskaya, who thought of adding honey to the egg instead of bread and gave this useful delicacy the name “eggnog”, finding it more harmonious. Anyway, in the classic version this dish belongs to desserts, and in addition to the beaten eggs, it uses sugar, not salt and bread.

  • There are a lot of recipes for cooking eggnog. There are traditional options for adults when alcoholic drinks are included, and for children, in which alcohol is replaced with juice or something else tasty and healthy.   • Pour in vanillin, pour in wine or juice. Whisk again.

Eggnog with Cognac

Composition:

  • chicken egg - 1 pc .;
  • salt - at the tip of a knife;
  • sugar - 20 g;
  • water - 50 ml;
  • milk - 50 ml;
  • cognac - 50 ml;
  • cherry juice - 50 ml;
  • grated chocolate - to taste.

Preparation Method:

  • Separate the white from the yolk, put it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • Add half of the sugar specified in the recipe to the yolk, whisk it with a mixer until the mixture brightens.
  • Add cold juice, water, milk, brandy. Beat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Get the protein out of the fridge. Beat it, mixed with sugar and salt.
