Puff pastry puffs with meat, potatoes and cheese - a simple recipe for puff pastries. If there is no time for cooking homemade puff pastry, and there is a desire to treat your loved ones with something tasty, then ready-to-cook products for baking is a very useful thing, one might even say, irreplaceable.
You can improvise and combine the ingredients of the filling for puffs according to your taste preferences - pickles, ham, sausages, everything fits!

Ingredients for making puffs with meat, potatoes and cheese:
- 500 g of the finished puff pastry;
- 250 g pork;
- 50 g cheese;
- 150 g potatoes;
- 1 fresh chilli pod;
- 5 g curry powder for meat;
- 15 g cilantro or parsley;
- 5 g butter;
- 1 chicken egg;
- salt, cooking oil, milk.
Method of making puffs with meat, potatoes and cheese
Peel potatoes, cut into slices, boil until cooked, add salt. Mash potatoes or skip through a potato masher. Add the puree butter and egg white. The yolk is left to lubricate the dough.
Pork cut into narrow thin slices of the backfire. These pies can be cooked with any meat - beef, chicken or turkey.
Pour a tablespoon of olive oil for frying into the pan. When the oil warms up, throw pork in the pan, fry for 7-8 minutes, stir to prevent the meat from burning, sprinkle with salt and curry powder 2 minutes before cooked.
Pork lay on a plate, it should cool down - the filling for puff pastries need cold.
Take frozen puff pastry, leave at room temperature for 40 minutes-1 hour. In this recipe, I used ready-made, in a package of four plates, from each you can make two patties, in the end you get 8 pieces.
So, we cut rectangles, they turned out to be 14x11 centimeters in size.
We place the workpiece on the board, retreat from the edge of 1, 5 centimeters, make a through cut, do not cut to the edge of 1, 5 centimeters.
In the middle of the blank, put a tablespoon of mashed potatoes, add a small sprig of cilantro or parsley.
On the potatoes lay out the pieces of pork. Fresh chili peppers are cleaned from seeds and partitions, cut into ringlets, add to meat and potatoes.
We take the dough for the edge (from the side of the cut), we shift through the filling, which now will be in the cut. Next, raise the other side with the cut, and do the same. The result will be a puff resembling a boat.
Connect the ends tightly, sprinkle the stuffing with grated cheese and chili rings.
Cut the edges of the dough with scissors. It is not necessary to do this, but a little variety does not hurt the puffs.
Mix raw yolk with a teaspoon of milk. Take a brush, grease the puff pastry with this mixture.
The oven is heated to a temperature of 220 degrees. Put a sheet of oiled parchment on a baking sheet, then lay out puffs.
Put the pan with puffs in a hot oven. Cook for 20 minutes.
We serve puffs to the table with meat, potatoes and cheese piping hotly, however, this home-baked pastry is not frozen in cold form.
