Chicken in sweet and sour sauce - incredibly tasty, tender and zesty. Preparing the dish quickly, consists of inexpensive and affordable ingredients. Nowadays, ginger, sea salt and soy sauce long ago moved from the category of overseas rarities into the category of everyday products that are in any store. A similar recipe is found under the name "sweet and sour chicken in Chinese." In various versions of the recipe, fresh pineapple is added to the sauce, hot pepper is put, honey is used instead of granulated sugar, and not vinegar is poured as an acidulant. Cook the chicken in a sweet and sour sauce as you like, try it to your taste, because, as you know, everyone has different tastes.

Ingredients for cooking chicken in sweet and sour sauce:
- 300 g chicken breast fillet;
- 85 g carrots;
- 70 g of green sweet pepper;
- 20 g of ginger;
- 120 g red onions;
- 3-4 cloves of garlic;
- 60 g tomato puree;
- 35 g of granulated sugar;
- 45 ml of soy sauce;
- 50 ml of wine vinegar;
- 35 ml of olive oil;
- sea salt, black pepper, green onions.
Method of cooking chicken in sweet and sour sauce
Cut chicken fillet from chicken breast. Meat for chicken in sweet and sour sauce, cut into long strips 1.5 centimeters wide. Put the fillet in a bowl, add a tablespoon of soy sauce and olive oil, pour 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, pepper black pepper. Leave the meat in the marinade for 10-15 minutes.

Put the fried filet to the vegetables, prepare everything together for another 3-4 minutes.
Before serving, sprinkle chicken in sweet and sour sauce with onion or parsley. Enjoy your meal!
