Broccoli with chicken - delicious stew with potatoes, chicken fillet and a variety of vegetables in a thick gravy. Its very convenient to cook in a large roasting pan. All ingredients are laid in layers, pour sour cream sauce and leave on the stove for about 45 minutes. During this time, the potatoes will be soft, the meat - tender, and vegetables soaked with juices and flavors of each other.
Chicken broccoli stew can be cooked on the stove or in the oven, do what you want.
It is important not to add cauliflower and broccoli to the stew along with the rest of the ingredients. These delicate varieties of cabbage are prepared fairly quickly, so you should not digest them, they can simply turn into mashed potatoes.

Ingredients for cooking broccoli stew with chicken:
- 500g chicken fillet;
- 250 g broccoli;
- 300 g potatoes;
- 60 g onions;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- 200 g carrots;
- 200 g white cabbage;
- 150 g cauliflower;
- 100 g of bell pepper;
- 120 ml of sour cream;
- 20 g wheat flour;
- vegetable oil for frying, salt, black pepper, bay leaf, paprika.
Method of cooking broccoli stew with chicken
To cook this stew, you will need a roaster or a wide pan with a thick bottom. Pour into it 2 tablespoons of any refined vegetable oil. Then put the peeled potatoes, cut into large cubes.
White cabbage chop into thin strips, add to the roaster. The thinner the cabbage is, the better, because of the ingredients of the stew, it is cooked the longest.
Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan, fry 6-minute-cut carrots, finely chopped onions and crushed garlic cloves. Add fried vegetables to potatoes and cabbage.
Chicken fillet cut into small cubes or long strips across the fibers. Fry for 3-4 minutes in the pan after the carrot and onion, spread a layer of chicken meat on the vegetables. Instead of fillet from the breast, you can use chicken thighs without bones and skin.
In a bowl, mix with a whisk or fork fat sour cream, wheat flour, salt to taste (7-8 g of fine salt is usually put on this amount of ingredients) and 100 ml of cold water or chicken broth. When the mixture becomes homogeneous, without lumps, pour it into the roaster. We put on the stove, close tightly, after boiling, reduce the heat, prepare 25 minutes.
While stewing potatoes with meat, prepare the remaining vegetables. Cut thick rings of sweet paprika. We sort into small broccoli florets and cauliflower.
Spread peppers, broccoli and cauliflower on top of chicken meat.
Add a little more salt, freshly ground black pepper, ground paprika and two bay leaves. Again, close the brazier tightly lid.
Cooking on a quiet fire for about 20 minutes. You do not need to mix the ingredients, as the delicate vegetables lying on top may fall apart.
