Chocolate cake with marshmallows you can bake to the sweet table on a festive day or Sunday dinner. Ingredients for chocolate cake with marshmallow
For the test:
- 150 g of wheat flour;
- 35 g of cocoa;
- 10 g baking powder;
- 200 g of granulated sugar;
- 4 large eggs;
- 220 g butter;
- 5 g ground cinnamon;
- carnation, star anise, cardamom.
For cream:
- 50 g of semolina;
- 500 ml of heavy cream;
- 1 lime;
- 130 g of granulated sugar;
- 200 g butter.
For chocolate ganache:
- 140 g of dark chocolate;
- 70 g of cream 33%;
- 150 g white marshmallow for decoration.
Method of making chocolate cake with marshmallow
We take out from the refrigerator products for the preparation of cream, they must be at room temperature. Pour cream into a saucepan, add sugar and lime zest. Gradually bring to a boil, then pour the semolina in a thin stream, stir, cook for 3-4 minutes, remove from heat.
In the cold semolina squeeze juice from lime. It is convenient to squeeze the juice out of citrus fruits with a teaspoon: cut the lime in half, insert the spoon in the center and rotate in a circle. If there are stones in the lime, then it is better to do it over the sieve.
In the cooled porridge add softened butter, blend with a blender to obtain a lush cream.

Separate the yolks from the proteins. In a deep bowl, rub 150 g of granulated sugar and soft butter, then add egg yolks one by one.

Beat egg whites and 50 grams of granulated sugar into strong foam. Add whipped whites and ground spices to the dough, knead the dough.
We bake the cake in a detachable form about 25 centimeters in size. Baking time 25-30 minutes, temperature 180 degrees Celsius.
Prepare the finished cake on a wire rack, cut it in half.
We spread the cream, distribute evenly. The cream is thick, so you can make the layer thick.
Cover the cake with the second half of the biscuit, line the edges with cream.
Making ganache. On the water bath, melt the bitter chocolate, whip cream. When the chocolate has cooled slightly, mix it with cream and coat the cake with ganache.
We cut the marshmallow in half, decorate the cake, sprinkle cocoa powder on top, put it in the refrigerator for several hours.
