Pork breast in the oven is a very tasty dish from an inexpensive part of the pig. In this recipe, I will tell you how to cook pork belly in the oven to make the meat tender, tasty, with a crispy crust. You will need a beer that you have to spend for cooking meat, dark or light, decide for yourself and choose to your taste. Beer pork is cooked all over Europe: in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, there are delicious meat and meat recipes everywhere. It takes time to prepare the dish, but it doesn’t cause much trouble: when the meat is cooked, put it in the pan and bake it, and that's the whole simple process.

Ingredients for pork belly in the oven
- 1kg of boneless pork belly;
- 220 g carrots;
- 3-4 cloves of garlic;
- 220 g onions;
- 1 chili pepper;
- 5 g of turmeric;
- 2 liters of beer;
- 3 bay leaves;
- 10 g dried spicy greens;
- 15 g sugar;
- 15 g of mustard dining;
- 15 g balsamic vinegar;
- 15 g of salt;
- vegetable oil.
Method of cooking pork belly in the oven
We split the pork - cut a piece of brisket into several large pieces, so it is more convenient to cook and shift the pork. It takes less time to cook a small piece than if you cook one thick and large brisket. So, cut the pork into 20x20 centimeters, 5-6 centimeters thick.
In a suitable size pot, put half of the sliced carrot and onion, all the garlic. Onions can be added directly from the husk, just pre-washed. Press the garlic with a knife so that it gives off its flavor better during the cooking process.
Add seasonings to the pan: hot chili pepper pod, bay leaf and dried herbs. Dried celery, parsley roots and dried green onions are good for pork.
Put the meat in the pan. I do not advise you to use a very large container for this recipe, since you will have to spend a lot of beer in order for the pork to "drown" in it completely.
Beer is shaken so that carbonic acid is released, leave for 10-15 minutes in an open container, then pour it over the meat so that the liquid covers it. If there is not enough beer, then nothing bad will happen, add cold water. Behind the beer, add table salt without additives and a teaspoon of ground turmeric.
Cook for about 1.5 hours on moderate heat, close the lid.
Then remove the pan from the heat, take out the meat, take out the carrot. Strain the broth through a sieve.
In the pan, quickly pass the remaining carrot and onion, add the carrot from the broth, put the bacon on the vegetables.
Mix glaze for golden brown - balsamic vinegar, granulated sugar, table mustard and a pinch of fine salt. We coat the bacon with the glaze, add a few tablespoons of strained broth to the pan.
We put in an oven heated to 230 degrees for 15-20 minutes, bake until golden brown.
Serve pork belly cooked in the oven to the table hot, piping hot. On the side, we make a tender potato mash with stewed green peas, and do not forget about a cup of cold beer!
