Baked fish in the sleeve - a recipe for those who are preparing the correct and healthy food for the holiday table. Tuna in the oven, baked in the sleeve along with carrots, onions and celery, with a side dish of brown rice - a healthy hot dish that will not leave marks on your sides.
It takes very little time to prepare this dietary dish. I advise you to cook everything in advance, serve it, and heat it in a microwave oven before serving.
Roasting sleeve is a great invention. I put it above the foil and parchment, since the butter is not needed at all, and all that is baked can be seen clearly, and you will not have to wash the dishes after cooking.

Ingredients for baked fish in the sleeve
- 450 g of fresh-frozen tuna;
- 100 g carrots;
- 100 grams of celery;
- 100 g onions;
- 5 g ground paprika;
- 5 g of fenugreek seeds;
- 150 g of brown rice;
- 20 g butter;
- 15 ml of soy sauce.
Method of cooking baked fish in the sleeve
Tuna steaks are thawed on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator compartment. If you cook from whole fish, then cut from the carcass pieces about 2 centimeters wide.
To the fish, add a carrot cut in small pieces and also chopped celery stalks. The fish will be cooked quickly, so the vegetables cannot be cut large, they will remain raw.
Season tuna and vegetables - sprinkle with fine salt, add fenugreek seeds and ground paprika. No need to rub the spices in the fish, simply sprinkle on top.
We take a sleeve for baking, unfold, put inside pieces of tuna with vegetables, add chopped large onions. We tear off a thin strip from the edge of the sleeve, tie one edge tightly first, then cut off the desired length of the sleeve and tie the second edge.
Properly wrapped products look like a big lollipop in a transparent package.
Take a baking sheet or clean pan. It is better to use cast iron utensils for this purpose, or any heat-resistant dishes with thick walls (except glass). We heat up to 185 degrees Celsius oven, put the fish on the middle shelf. Cook for about 15 minutes. Then get out of the oven, leave for another 10 minutes in the sleeve, without opening.
We cut the sleeve, the tuna is ready - a tender, fragrant fish and vegetable garnish to boot.
Now cook brown rice. Pour 2 g of salt in a small thick-walled stewpan, put the butter, then - thoroughly washed brown rice. Pour 250 ml of cold water and soy sauce, send the stewpan to the fire. After boiling we reduce the gas to a minimum, close the saucepan tightly. Cook for 20 minutes, wrapped the finished rice with a towel, leave to steam for half an hour.
Place a culinary ring on a festive plate, tightly place a portion of brown rice.
Put the cooked tuna in the sleeve on rice, add a little baked carrot, celery and slices of baked onion. Decorate the dish with greens, pour with soy sauce and serve. Baked fish in the sleeve with brown rice is ready. Enjoy your meal!
