Classic yeast cake with dough decorations, which can be cut out with the usual cookie cutters. If you do not have a form in the form of an oak leaf, then you can show imagination and cut jewelry with any object with a thin and sharp edge - a glass or a glass, you can even use children's molds for the sandbox. On the cut dough fragments make strips or a grid with a sharp knife, it will be beautiful!
Pie with chicken and vegetables will turn out very tasty, with a juicy filling, if the products for the filling are stewed until half cooked, so that they have juice that will stand out during baking and soak the oatmeal or bread crumbs.

Ingredients for chicken and vegetable pie:
- 300 g of premium grade wheat flour;
- 9 g of pressed yeast;
- 150 ml of warm water (30 degrees Celsius);
- 35 g butter;
- 5 g sugar;
- 4 g of salt;
- 1 raw chicken yolk (for lubrication);
- 300 g chicken fillet;
- 2 onions;
- 2 carrots;
- 2 tomatoes;
- 2 sweet bell peppers;
- 60 grams of oatmeal;
- olive oil, pepper, salt, cilantro
A way to make chicken and vegetables pie
Make without sponge yeast dough. In warm water, dissolve an incomplete spoon of granulated sugar and add pressed yeast. If you do not have kitchen scales, then 9 g of yeast look like a quarter matchbox. Pour flour mixed with salt in a bowl. We make an indentation in the very center, into which we pour in the dissolved yeast. Add melted butter, knead the dough.
We leave it warm until a small bun increases about 3 times, which is clearly seen in the photo. It will take about 50 minutes. Then the dough is “blown away” - we mix it vigorously to remove carbon dioxide, and now you can make a pie from it.
Prepare the filling, while the dough grows. Fry in olive oil in turn: onions and carrots, bell peppers and tomatoes, finely chopped chicken fillet. Season the stuffing with salt, ground pepper and cilantro.
So that the filling does not fall apart when we cut the cake into pieces, add the instant oatmeal flakes, you can replace them with bread crumbs or breadcrumbs. While the cake is baked, the juices from the filling will be absorbed into the oatmeal, it will be very tasty. In addition, the pie with such a filling is easy to cut into portions.
Putting the cake. We roll 2/3 dough into a round sheet 1 cm thick, put the dough on a dry baking sheet. In the center lay out the cooled filling, form a round cake, slightly crush.
We roll the remaining 1/3 dough thin. Cut the form of biscuits for oak leaves. Mix raw yolk and one teaspoon of olive oil. Grease each piece with this mixture.
Covering the stuffing with dough; in the center we leave a hole for the steam to come out. Grease the cake with yolk and butter, glue the leaves on the mixture in a circle pie. We give the product 25-30 minutes apart.
Bake at 210 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes.
Serve the cake to the table when it has cooled slightly, as the dough should rest a bit after the oven.
