Chocolate sausage with almonds, banana and cognac is a simple and tasty homemade dessert that can be called a cake without baking. Preparing a dish quickly, but keep in mind that it should freeze for quite a long time, at least 5 hours, depending on the thickness of the finished sausage. If the “chocolate dough” turns out to be liquid, then I advise you to add additional cookie crumbs, if, on the contrary, it is very thick, then pour in some cream, milk, strong coffee.
For the children's menu, brandy in chocolate sausage is not suitable, it can be replaced with banana syrup or condensed milk.

- 400 g of shortbread;
- 200 g butter;
- 100 grams of granulated sugar;
- 40 g of cocoa;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 30 ml of brandy;
- 1 banana;
- 60 grams of almond;
- ground cinnamon, vanilla extract;

For the preparation of chocolate sausage, you will need a deep metal bowl, and a pan suitable to it in size, since the liquid ingredients are steamed.
So, pour sugar in a bowl. By the way, brown sugar will add a caramel flavor to the dessert.
Next, pour the cocoa powder. By the way, the powder is rich in magnesium, potassium and zinc, and 100 g contains as much as 230 mg of caffeine, so cocoa is quite a strong stimulator of the nervous system and a useful product.
Cut butter into cubes, add to dry foods. At this stage, you can pour a tablespoon of warm water or milk into the bowl, but this is not necessary.
Place the bowl in the water bath, gradually heat until the butter is completely melted, then break the raw chicken egg. Constantly stirring the mixture with a whisk, heat it to a temperature of 80 degrees so that the mixture thickens.
Clean the ripe sweet banana from the peel, knead the pulp with a fork, add to the bowl with liquid ingredients. Then add a few drops of vanilla extract.
Shortbread cookies knead into crumb. It is better to do so - half of the norm according to the recipe to grind in a blender to small crumbs, and half to stretch with a rolling pin, so that large pieces are preserved. Add ground cookies to liquid ingredients.
Finely chop the almonds with a sharp knife. Put ground cinnamon and chopped nuts in a bowl.
Now pour two tablespoons of brandy, if you are preparing a dessert for children, then instead of brandy add a couple of spoons of any fruit syrup.
Stir the mass thoroughly so that all products are evenly joined together.
We spread several layers of food foil on the table. Lubricate the foil with vegetable oil, odorless, lay out the chocolate mass.
Fold the sausage, twirl the edges in the manner of a large candy. We remove the sausage in the fridge for 5-6 hours, and better - all night.
During the night, the chocolate sausage will harden well and you can serve slices of sweet sausage for tea or coffee.
