The unusual presentation of food familiar from childhood is always interesting and surprising. But what if such a serving turns out to be delicious cherry dumplings, only they will be presented in the form of dumplings? Probably all your guests will want to try them out, because new experiments are extremely infectious for experienced chefs.
To cook such sweet dumplings, it is not necessary to stick to the filling of one type. You can sculpt them with red or black currants, strawberries, gooseberries, etc., the main thing is that you and your relatives will like them. And to serve such a delicacy from the dough should certainly be with sour cream, sugar and melted butter!
Let's try to prepare 1-1.5 kg of ravioli with cherries, acquiring the necessary ingredients:
- 1 chicken egg;
- 2 tbsp. sour cream;
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- 0.5 tsp. salts;
- 1 tsp. sugar sand;
- 2.5 Art. wheat flour;
- 0.5 tbsp. water;
- 300 g cherries;
- 100 grams of granulated sugar.
Usually, a small set of ingredients is used to make dumplings dough, but the dough made from water, eggs and flour is often less elastic and becomes very hard very quickly. That is why in this dough is recommended to add a little fat. In our version it is vegetable oil and sour cream. At the expense of them, you can stretch the dough in any direction and not worry about the fact that after a few stretch marks it will get stuck in one.
Pour half of the flour into the container, leaving a little to roll out the dough, and make a small depression in it. Immediately beat a chicken egg into it.
Pour in vegetable oil and add a few tablespoons of sour cream. Sour cream can choose any fat content, even kefir or ryazhenka will do.
Pour in plain water and knead the dough, adding flour as it mixes.
Let him stand for a while, while you are cleaning the cherries.
Rinse the cherry berries in water and peel.
While pinching small portions of dough, roll each of them into a circle using a rolling pin. Sprinkle the form for ravioli with wheat flour so that cooked ravioli are not glued to it, and cover it with a rolled dough circle.
In each cell lay out the peeled cherry berry, slightly pushing it inside, but trying not to tear the dough.
Sprinkle sugar over the berries.
Roll out and cover them with a second round of dough, and then press down with a rolling pin, starting at the edge of the form. Roll the form well with a rolling pin so that each pelmeni is separated from each other. Gently invert the form and squeeze out all the pelmeni from it. Place them on a board, sprinkled with flour, and place in the freezer for 20-30 minutes for complete solidification, if you make such semi-finished products in reserve.
If you immediately serve a treat to the table, then boil water in a saucepan or saucepan and put in it dumplings with cherries for 10 minutes from the moment of boiling.
Then remove the pelmeni with a slotted spoon and serve them with butter, sugar and sour cream. You can even open a jar of delicious jam or sprinkle them with grated chocolate! Good appetite!
