After a feast with mayonnaise salads, you want something light, diet ... Such as a salad of Chinese cabbage, carrots and apples!
This salad is bright and fresh, like Spring itself, the foreboding of which is already in the winter air. Tender greens, bright carrot, vitamin celery, sweet apple - a combination of successful and very tasty!
Ingredients for light salad from Beijing cabbage
- 100 g of Peking cabbage;
- 100 g celery root;
- 100 g carrots;
- 1 apple;
- 1-2 tbsp. l lemon juice;
- 1-2 tbsp. l sunflower oil (or olive, as you like);
- salt, pepper - to your taste;
- a small bunch of parsley or dill.
Method of cooking light salad from Beijing cabbage
Wash all vegetables, fruits, with cabbage, remove the top leaves, carrots and celery root peeled, apple - from the hearts. We put the greens in cold water for 5 minutes, then remove and rinse under running water.
Peking cabbage is cut into large strips - this variety is much softer than white cabbage, and it does not need to be thinly shred.

Chop greens.
Combine the ingredients in a bowl, salt-pepper, fill with oil and mix.

You can diversify light salad to your taste, adding seasonal vegetables and various ingredients to it: chicken breast or grated cheese (then it will be satisfying, though not as dietary), sweet pepper, tomato or cucumber, green peas, sweet canned corn ...
