- 6 medium potatoes, boiled in uniform;
- 2 onions;
- 4 stalks of celery lettuce;
- 1/4 leek stem;
- 1 sour apple;
- 2 tbsp. l peeled sunflower seeds;
- olive oil;
- 1 \ 2 lemon;
- black pepper, sea salt.
A method of cooking lean potato salad with celery and an apple
Boiled in a uniform and completely cooled potatoes are cut into large cubes. Salad can be cooked with warm potatoes, it will also be tasty, but you should eat this salad immediately, because other vegetables will be softened in a “warm atmosphere”.
In a separate bowl, we put onion, leek and sour green apple cut into thin strips into very thin rings. Season the vegetables with a pinch of sea salt and pour over freshly squeezed lemon juice. Then we mix thoroughly so that the juice covers the apples and they do not darken.
Celery stalks are cut into small cubes, you can replace the celery stalk in the recipe with the root, but then the root should be boiled together with the potatoes and cut into cubes.
We mix all the chopped vegetables in a deep salad bowl, add freshly ground black pepper and olive oil of the first cold press. To enhance the beneficial effect of the salad, I advise you to add 1-2 teaspoons of flaxseed oil.
In a dry pan, fry the peeled sunflower seeds until golden brown, add to the rest of the ingredients, season them with a pinch of sea salt during roasting, the roasted seeds will turn out more delicious. Cut into thin strips a small part of the green leaf of a leek, sprinkle the salad.
