Ingredients for broccoli casserole and chicken fillet
- 200 g chicken fillet;
- 350 g broccoli;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 20 g semolina;
- Milk, onions, leeks, chili peppers, butter and frying oil.
Method of cooking casseroles with broccoli and chicken fillet
Chicken fillet cut into thin strips. Fry on a mixture of vegetable and butter (in equal proportions) finely chopped onions, add strips of chicken, fry for a few minutes, then remove from heat and transfer chicken fillet into a flat refractory shape. Pre-lubricate the form with cold butter and sprinkle with semolina.
Cut the broccoli into small florets. Steam or boil in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. You can cook this dish, both from frozen broccoli, and from fresh, there is no fundamental difference. In addition, research suggests that many useful substances are well preserved in frozen broccoli.
Add steamed broccoli to chicken fillet.
Season the dish with green chilli, but this is individual, if you do not like spicy food, you can skip this step.
Mix two large chicken eggs with salt and two tablespoons of milk, stir with a fork, pour chicken fillet and broccoli egg mixture. Eggs do not need to beat, just a little mix them with a fork. You can add a tablespoon of semolina to a mixture of eggs and milk, the casserole will be more dense and, of course, more satisfying.
Sprinkle casserole with leek, fried in butter. Heat up to 170 degrees Celsius oven.
This tender casserole needs to be cooked in “soft” conditions so that the green color of the cabbage is preserved and the omelet is not burnt. Therefore, in a baking tray pour hot water, and then put in the form with broccoli. Cooking in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, we get the casserole, when the eggs are ready.
You can make a Dutch or cream sauce to the finished broccoli casserole with chicken fillet, season it with green onions, chili pepper and serve it hot, but by the way, it's also very cold cold.
