It would seem that a huge number of dishes have already been prepared from chicken thighs, and it is hardly possible to come up with something new with this uncomplicated product. However, we will try to surprise you. How do you, for example, such a Mediterranean-style dish?
Smoked sausages give it a light piquancy, brackish olives and sweet Bulgarian pepper sate with unusual facets of taste, tart wine adds refinement. We are sure that both you and your loved ones will appreciate the advantages of this recipe - after all, the chicken is prepared in Spanish, despite the apparent complexity and intricacy, easily and quickly.
Ingredients:
- chicken thighs - 4 pcs .;
- smoked sausages - 75 g;
- sweet red bell pepper - 1 pc .;
- yellow sweet pepper - 1 pc .;
- tomatoes - 400 g;
- pitted olives - 30 g;
- garlic - 3 cloves;
- olive oil - 2 tbsp. l .;
- dry white wine - 150 ml;
- dried paprika - 1 tbsp. l .;
- ground black pepper;
- salt.
Preparation:
Wash tomatoes and make shallow cross-shaped cuts on them with a sharp knife. Dip the tomatoes for 2-3 minutes in a container of boiling water. Water should be such an amount that the fruit is fully immersed in it.
Remove the tomatoes from the boiling water and remove the skin from them. Then cut the pulp into small cubes.
Peel the garlic cloves and crush them with the side of a wide knife.
Rinse red and yellow Bulgarian pepper under running water, peel off the stem and seeds. Cut the flesh of the peppers into thin strips.
Smoked sausages cut across into ringlets about 1.5-2 cm thick.
Cut the olives in half across.
Rinse the chicken thighs under running water and dry. Rub black pepper and salt from all sides. In a large deep frying pan or saucepan, heat the olive oil. Place chicken thighs in it and fry on high heat from both sides so that the meat is covered with a golden crust.
Remove the roasted thighs from the pan. Fry the pan in which the chicken was fried, put it back on fire. Put in her chopped peppers. Fry the peppers, stirring occasionally, until it is soft and reddened.
Add chopped peeled tomatoes to the pan in the pan, sprinkle with paprika. Pour in the white wine. Stir the contents of the pan thoroughly and bring to a boil.
Put the sliced sausages in the pan. Stir, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, put olives in a frying pan. Stir, bring to a boil. Put roasted chicken thighs in the resulting vegetable sauce, heat for 1-2 minutes and remove from heat.
