The easiest lean garnish - potatoes or pasta - will become ten times more tasty if you give them a bright color and taste, a sharp, juicy carrot salad in Korean! But do not rush to the store - homemade Korean carrot will give odds to the purchased salad, ahead of it in freshness, juiciness, and richness of taste! The carrot salad, loved by many, is very easy to make at home, food is required at least, and it turns out a lot, quickly and tasty.
Homemade salad has a lot of advantages compared to the market: you will eat it freshly prepared, add only healthy ingredients (no monosodium glutamate, it’s also a flavor enhancer - we’ll make it appetizing this way!) And choose the number of spices according to your preferences .
Ingredients for Korean Carrot
On 0, 5 kg of carrots:
- 0, 5 tsp. ground black pepper;
- 1 tsp. salt (without slides);
- 1, 5 tbsp. l Sahara;
- 2-2, 5 art. l vinegar 9%;
- 5-6 small cloves of garlic;
- optional - a little ground red pepper and coriander;
- 1/4 tbsp. sunflower oil (unrefined).
You also need a special grater.
Korean carrot cooking method
It is better to choose a large carrot - it will be easier to grate it on the “Korean” grater. After washing and cleaning the carrot, we rinse it again, dry it with a towel so that it does not slip, and rub it on a grater, trying to get as long as possible the stripes.
Putting the grated carrot in a salad bowl, season it with spices: salt, pepper; add sugar, vinegar and chopped garlic (skipped through a garlic press or grated on a fine grater).
You can immediately put a little less spices than indicated in the ingredients, and then, having tasted the salad, add the right spices to your taste.
Thoroughly mix the carrot with spices and fill the salad with sunflower oil. Then mix the salad again and the delicious carrot is ready!
Serving it is healthy with any side dish - boiled or fried potatoes, rice, pasta will be very tasty with spicy carrots, even without meat.
Korean carrot salad is perfectly stored in the refrigerator. In a glass container with a tightly closed lid, a carrot can stand for almost a week (of course, if it is not eaten on the first day - it turns out so delicious that it is quite likely!).
