- 50 g sunflower seeds;
- 100 g sesame;
- 50 g peanuts;

- 40 ml of olive oil;
- 130 g whole wheat flour;
- 5 g baking powder;

Cooking method for homemade cookies
We take a frying pan with a thick bottom, heat it over a moderate fire, pour out the peeled seeds, fry until golden brown, pour it into a deep bowl.
Following the seeds, pour sesame into the frying pan, fry for 2 minutes. Sesame seeds are very small, burn quickly, especially on a hot frying pan, so they need to be constantly mixed.
Add roasted sesame seeds.
Peanuts mash with a rolling pin or rub with a pestle in a mortar. Soak the raisins and dates in boiling water for 5 minutes, dry them on paper towels, chop finely.
Add nuts and dried fruits in a bowl.
Next, pour sugar and orange powder. Instead of powder, you can rub the zest of two large oranges on a fine grater.
Add unsweetened plain yogurt and raw chicken egg. Throw a pinch of fine salt to balance the flavors.
Pour olive oil, mix liquid ingredients with seeds and dried fruit.
Then pour whole-grain wheat flour, baking powder and the secret ingredient - a small pinch of cayenne pepper, literally on the tip of a knife. Knead the dough for cookies, if it turns liquid, add a little more flour.
Cut off a piece of parchment for baking, grease with olive oil, spread the thick dough with a dessert spoon at a short distance from each other.
We heat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius. We put the baking sheet with cookies on an average level, cook for 18 minutes, if the oven is gas, I advise you to turn the pastry with a spatula after 8 minutes.
You can serve the table immediately or fold the cookies into a metal box with a lid - they will be well preserved.
