Roasting pork in the oven is a simple recipe that will help you quickly, without the smell of fried oil, oil splashes and other inconveniences that accompany the frying process, make a delicious and appetizing pork belly in the oven. For some time now I've been cooking pork fried only this way. Well, you're tired of washing the stove after you fry a small piece of meat, and the smell is not always happy, especially if the spray of oil gets into the fire.
Once I saw professional cooks - they cover the stove with foil around the burners, but for cooking a homemade dinner for a small family, it is somehow uneconomical. But in the oven, and even with the grill mode, the frying will turn out the most delicious - ruddy, golden, juicy and tender.
On a side dish for such meat, boil potatoes and stew carrots with onions, you get a hearty, tasty and simple lunch.
It is important to choose the right bacon for this recipe. Need brisket with thin layers of fat, it is better to pickle very fatty meat with wide strips of fat (it will be tasty in a package in a dry way) or boil in onion peel. Butchers usually sell fry without ribs, but sometimes, small cartilage remains, in my opinion, with them even tastier.

Pork stir-fry ingredients in the oven
- 600 g pork belly without bone;
- 1 tsp. fennel;
- 1 tsp. cumin;
- 2 tsp. sweet paprika;
- 2 tsp. seasonings for meat;
- 1 tbsp. l honey
- 1 tbsp. l soy sauce;
- salt, vegetable oil.
Method of cooking pork fried in the oven
Fry slices of about two centimeters thick. This time I got the meat with rib cartilage and skin, and since the pig was young, the skin was edible and soft, and the cartilage was tender.
Now make a mixture to grate the meat. Pour salt and sweet paprika in a bowl, add cumin, fennel and a little dry seasoning for meat. By the way, the one that is for the kebab, the same fit.
We rub the pieces of pork fried with spices carefully so that there are no untreated pieces.
Pour all the vegetable oil, you will need 2-3 tablespoons of oil.
Put the meat in a refractory baking dish. We heat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
The form is covered with a piece of foil, set for 30 minutes in a heated oven. Then remove the foil and grease the meat sauce. I cook the sauce this way - I heat the honey in a bowl in a water bath, when it becomes liquid, I add thick soy sauce.
Now turn on the grill mode and fry the pork roast in the oven until golden brown under the grill, it will take about 5-6 minutes.
We get pork roast from the oven, let it “rest” for a few minutes at room temperature and serve with a complicated side dish, pickles or vegetable salad. Enjoy your meal!
If there is no grill in your stove, then you will not get upset. Remove the form from the oven after 25 minutes, remove the foil, turn the pieces of meat over, cover with the sauce and cook another 15 minutes without foil at about 180 degrees. Grilled pork will turn out not less tasty!
