A very simple recipe for a cheese snack is pickled feta cheese. All that is needed for this recipe is a box of feta, a set of dried herbs, garlic, olive oil and a couple of fresh chilli pods. A few days later, when the cheese is soaked with marinade, you get a cool snack - spicy and fragrant. Oil also will not disappear, soaked with the smell of dried herbs, it will only improve their taste. After eating cheese, butter is best stored in the refrigerator.
Marinated cheese can be served as a separate dish, but other than that, it will enrich any, even the most modest vegetable salad, and a simple slice of rye bread will turn into a tasty breakfast, if you spread a small slice of spiced cheese on it.

- 250 g of feta cheese;
- 2 hot chili peppers;
- 4 cloves of garlic;
- sprig of rosemary;
- 1 tsp. ground paprika;
- 2 tsp. dried leaves of mint;
- 1 tsp. thyme and basil;
- 150 ml of extra virgin olive oil.
Method of Cooking Pickled Feta Cheese
The finished feta cheese is cut into small cubes, I usually cut it so that a piece falls on one bite, for the well-known reason men especially appreciate it.
Peel the garlic cloves, cut them in half and lightly press them to release the garlic oil. One pod of chili pepper cut into rings. At this stage, in general, the preparation of pickled cheese in part of the processing of products and ends, then it remains only to lay down everything in a jar.
At the bottom of a suitable dish, it is better to choose a low jar with a wide neck, put a sprig of rosemary, half chopped garlic, a few chili rings, add a whole chili pod and a portion of feta cubes.
We continue to fill the jar, alternately stacking cheese cubes and sprinkling them with flakes of paprika, dried mint, thyme and basil, also put the remaining cloves of garlic and pepper rings.
We fill the jar completely, it is not necessary to tamp the cheese, as crumbs will appear that will spoil all the beauty, and besides, they are inconvenient.
Pouring the first cold-pressed olive oil into the jar, in this case, you don't need to skimp on a good result. The oil will not disappear, but will be very useful for salad dressing, after soaking it with the aroma of spices, garlic and pepper, it will acquire a very rich bouquet of tastes and smells.
We leave the cheese for a few days in a cool place, no more manipulations with it are needed. In 2-3 days you will get spicy, spicy and fragrant feta cheese, which can be spread on crisp breads or added to vegetable salad.
