On a cool, overcast day, the best that can be served for dinner is a nourishing warming soup. Such as bean soup with ribs: and you will eat and be warm, and the mood will rise. Our soup is not simple, but from a bean mixture: colorful, fragrant, rich! However, you can cook the same delicious soup from ordinary beans. On the market, so many different kinds of its sell - and white, and speckled, and brown, and orange, and even huge beans of lilac color.
Imagine what a wonderful bean soup will come out of such an assortment: not only delicious, but also beautiful. And if you flavor it with a good piece of meatballs with meat ... then the second one will not need to be cooked!
Ingredients for Bean Soup with Ribs
At 2, 5-3 liters of water will need:
- 300-400 g of pork or beef ribs;
- half a bag of bean mixture (beans, peas, lentils of various kinds) or a glass of beans;
- 3-5 medium sized potatoes;
- 1 medium carrot;
- 1 medium bulb;
- sunflower oil - 2 table. l .;
- salt - 1 table. l .;
- bay leaf - 2-3 things;
- ground black pepper or peas - to your taste.
Method of making soup with beans and ribs
First, soak the beans in cold water or bean mixture. After lying for half an hour in the cold water, the beans will cook faster.
In the meantime, put the washed ribs into cold water pot, cut them into portions. Bring to a boil, salt and water the first and type a new one.
Boil the ribs for 20-30 minutes with a small boil under the lid, and add the beans to the pan along with the water in which we soaked it. Cook for another half hour, but for now the meat and beans are boiled, we will prepare the remaining ingredients.
Finely chop the onion and fry in sunflower oil - not until it is brown, but before light transparency.
Add the grated carrot and fry for another 2-3 minutes, until soft.
Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut into cubes.
Now pour the carrot-onion zazharku and potatoes in a pan to the beans and ribs.
Salt, mix and cook the whole “company” together for about 15 minutes until all the products are soft.
Then add pepper, bay leaf and turn it off after two minutes.
