In this recipe for muffins, I propose the American version - small sweet muffins (they are also unsweetened, also delicious) on the basis of dough on sour cream with baking powder and soda - practical and fast food, the efficient hostess will easily make them for breakfast. By the way, English muffins are made from yeast dough, in my opinion, they look like brioche.
There are many varieties of muffins - with blueberries, with chocolate, just can not list. In this recipe, a beautiful and tasty additive is multicolored candied pineapple.

Ingredients for Candied Muffins
- 250 g of wheat flour;
- 170 g of granulated sugar;
- 50 g fat sour cream;
- 130 g butter;
- 30 ml of olive oil;
- 3 chicken eggs;

Method of making muffins with candied
We measure off sugar, break chicken eggs. There are only two large eggs for muffins, you need three small ones. Mix eggs with sugar with a regular whisk. Next, add fat sour cream. It is important to put in the dough any dairy product - sour cream, kefir, yogurt, the acid of which under the influence of high temperature will react with baking soda. As a result, baking will be lush.
Heat butter in a water bath, when it melts, add olive oil, pour the mixture into the bowl.
Then pour the sifted wheat flour, add baking powder dough (aka baking powder). Pour natural flavors - ground cinnamon and orange powder.
Knead the dough for muffins, it does not need to be mixed for a long time, 2-3 minutes is enough to make it homogeneous, without lumps of flour.

Silicone tins are lubricated with refined olive or vegetable oil. In each form we put about a tablespoon of dough, leaving space for the muffin to be where to rise when baking.
In the gas oven, I advise you to put silicone molds on a baking sheet made of thick metal or put them in metal molds so that the muffins do not burn, as there is a lot of heat from the bottom.
We heat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius, bake the muffins for 25 minutes until golden brown.
