Homemade tomato juice, in the recipe of which blender is used, is simple, tasty and every hostess can do. I do not use a juicer. Frankly, just feel sorry for the place in the kitchen. This kitchen gadget is needed only a couple of months a year, if you are not a fan of freshly squeezed drinks, but it will take a shelf in a locker firmly and for a long time. A regular blender, and in the old days - a simple meat grinder and a sieve, solve the problem of making tomato juice at home as well as a juicer, although not so fast.
Juices in my childhood were rarely made at home, 3-liter jars with tomato “nectar” never disappeared from the shelves, even at the moments of the most severe crisis. However, when a child appeared, I thought about a quality product that was made with my own hands from delicious tomatoes. I tried it - it turned out, and since then, in the fall, when there is simply nowhere to go from ripe tomatoes, I spoil my family with a thick and tasty drink.

- 2.5 kg of ripe tomatoes;

So, the most ripe and fleshy tomatoes, even if they are slightly overripe, and, oh, horror !, with small defects, wash thoroughly with cold water. Then we cut out the defects and compaction near the stalks, and cut the vegetables coarsely.
I noticed a long time ago that for a tasty juice it is better to take overripe and sweet tomatoes with defects, rather than perfect, but dense, immature.
Now put the sliced tomatoes in a blender. I have a small bowl, so I purry vegetables in portions.
Turn vegetables into smooth mashed potatoes. The mass will turn out to be quite fluffy and light, let it not frighten you, because this is a blender. Its functions include not only grinding products, but also beating.
Now we take the capacity in which we will cook the tomato mass and the fine sieve. Rub the crushed puree through a sieve with a tablespoon. On the grid will remain only the skin and seeds, all the most delicious will gradually move to the pan.
Put the container on the stove, bring it to a boil over moderate heat. First, the liquid will foam strongly. This leaves air bubbles, which filled up the mass in a blender. Gradually, the foam settles, and the juice will acquire the traditional bright red color. At this stage, add to your taste granulated sugar and table salt without additives. Boil with salt and sugar for about 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
Banks for harvesting my carefully and dry for 10 minutes in an oven at a temperature of about 100 degrees Celsius. Pour boiling tomato juice into jars, immediately close the lids tightly. We turn the cans upside down, wrap them warm, leave them for the night.
Store homemade tomato juice in a cool dark place.
I share the taste of my childhood. In the cafe after the training we bought half a glass of sour cream, a glass of tomato juice and several sandwiches with smoked sausage and fresh loaf. Mixed juice with sour cream, salted and drank sandwiches with this divine nectar.
