On the form of 20-24 cm:

  • Butter - 100 g;

Butter should be softened, getting out of the refrigerator for 20 minutes before you start to prepare the dough. If the guests are already on the doorstep and you are in a hurry, the oil softening process can be accelerated by slightly heating it in the microwave or on the stove. Just beware: the oil should not melt completely, but only become soft.

Whip butter and sugar with a mixer for 15-20 seconds at medium speed. Then we beat the eggs one at a time, each time whipping a little more until homogeneous.

Then pour sunflower oil into the dough - it is better to take the refined one, since the fragrant will give the cake its (other) flavor. Stir with a spoon.

Sift wheat flour into a bowl with dough, mix it with baking powder for dough, and pour dry poppy. Mix again.
