Unsweetened pies are very common in France and are considered a great alternative to Italian pizza. They can be served with soups, hot drinks, fruit and green salads. Pie-roll with olives, cheese and dried peppers is a great option for an appetizing lunch, which you can take with you to pairs in the institute or in the office. Wrapping a few pieces of fragrant roll in a paper bag, you can enjoy baking during the lunch break and fill the body with essential substances.
Depending on your preferences, the filling can be made to a roll: replace dried vegetables with fresh peppers or tomatoes, use olives instead of olives, add mushrooms, ham or salami to the mass.
Ingredients for pie roll with olives, dried peppers and cheese
- olives (1 pack);
- flour (2 tbsp.);
- dried peppers (3-5 pieces);
- yeast (1.5 tsp.);
- sweetener (2-3 tablespoons);
- milk (150 ml);
- salt (pinch);
- cheese (100-150 grams);
- oil (2 tbsp.);
- egg (1 pc.).
Method of making a pie roll with olives, dried peppers and cheese
Add yeast to a deep container with warm milk product. Add sugar, mix the ingredients, leave the mass for 10-12 minutes. Pour the vegetable oil into the bowl.
Enter the egg, mix the ingredients with a cooking rim. In the next step, add salt and flour to the billet. Carefully repel the mass with your hands and leave for 27-32 minutes.
Stretch the flour mixture with a rolling pin into a rectangular layer.
Put the olives on it. Add crushed dried sweet pepper. Sprinkle cheese around the perimeter of the dough.
Roll up the dough with a roll.
Put the resulting billet in a refractory form, processed with cooking oil, send to the oven (180 degrees) for 27-32 minutes. Enjoy a pie roll with pepper, cheese and olives at any time.
