Pie with mushrooms on kefir in the oven is a simple home-made pastry that needs to be prepared in late autumn, coming from the forest with a full basket of forest gifts. Mushroom cake on kefir is incredibly simple, the most laborious in its preparation - cooking mushrooms. Such jellied pies can be cooked not only with the gifts of the forest, but also with meat, chicken, ordinary boiled sausage or sausages. By the way, nothing prevents you from adding any of the above products and in this recipe, you will only get tastier. It is important to remember that chicken and meat must be boiled or fried, in any case raw!
Canned mushrooms are also suitable for the recipe, it is better to take salted, but not pickled, as vinegar spoil the taste of the filling.

Ingredients for making pie with mushrooms on kefir
- 500 g of forest mushrooms;
- 120 g onions;
- 120 g carrots;
- 60 g paprika;
- 30g parsley;
- 70 g of hard cheese;
- 50 g butter;
- 2-3 eggs;
- 100 ml of kefir;
- 300 g wheat flour;
- 7 g baking powder;
- vegetable oil, soda, salt, pepper.
Method of cooking the threshold with mushrooms on kefir
We start with the preparation of the filling. Finely chopped onions. Rubbed large carrots. Fry the onions and carrots in the heated vegetable oil until soft.
We soak forest mushrooms in cold water, recline in a colander, wash thoroughly.
Put the mushrooms in a pan with hot water, after boiling we drain the water, wash the mushrooms and send them back to the pan with boiling water. Salt to taste, cook for 30-40 minutes.
Fold back into a sieve, then cut finely, and mushroom broth is useful for soup or sauce.
Next, clean the seeds from the Bulgarian pepper, cut into cubes. Finely chop a bunch of parsley. We rub hard cheese on a large grater.
In a deep bowl, mix roasted onions and carrots, chopped boiled mushrooms, sweet peppers, grated cheese and parsley.
Add a piece of softened butter, because the ingredients are warm, you do not need to melt the butter, it will melt itself.
Then we divide the chicken eggs into a bowl and add the kefir. Instead of kefir, you can use yogurt, yogurt or low-fat sour cream.
Pour sifted flour, 1 \ 2 teaspoonful of baking soda, baking powder, freshly ground black pepper into a bowl, salt to taste.
Knead the dough carefully so that no lumps of wheat flour remain in it.
Grease the form with butter, powder with flour. Spread the dough evenly.
We heat the oven to a temperature of about 185 degrees Celsius. Set the shape to an average level of the oven. Cooking 40 minutes.
