Salad with crab sticks is probably familiar to everyone. For sure, every hostess adds to it his “special” ingredient. Typically, this salad is prepared with the addition of rice or potatoes, canned corn, fresh cucumber, boiled eggs - options mass.
Of course, crab sticks or crab meat is the main essential ingredient. The proportions of each have their own. But I decided to cook a crab salad, and instead of sweetcorn, put green peas. I was not at all disappointed with the result. Thanks to the canned peas, the salad was very tender and acquired a new, pleasant taste. Try this recipe yourself and decide if it deserves a place in your cookbook.
Potatoes - 2-3 pcs .;
Carrots - 1 pc .;
Crab sticks - 200 g;
Green peas - 1 bank;
Salt, pepper - to taste;
Mayonnaise for refueling.
To begin with, wash and boil potatoes and carrots. When the vegetables get cold, peel them and cut them into small cubes. Carrots need not very big, just add a little sweetness, and also for a color accent. Crab sticks are also ground. Try to make all the slices in a salad in a noticeably one format: I usually cut crab sticks and carrots into dice, about a pea, it seems to me that this is how the salad looks more appetizing.
Pour pickle from canned peas, pour it into a salad bowl, add sliced potatoes.
It remains to salt the salad, pepper and season with mayonnaise or sour cream. If for you this dressing is too greasy, you can replace it with a thick white yogurt without flavorings. So lettuce will become more tender. If this taste is too fresh for your taste, add a few drops of lemon juice.
We mix all the components together, bring them to taste, add salt, if necessary, and shift them into serving utensils.
