Today I want to share very interesting recipes, although for me they are ordinary. Rabbit meat dishes are rare for some, you will not often meet them in a city shop. But in my village almost every household has these animals.

Rabbit meat is considered dietary because it contains little fat and cholesterol. Rabbit liver is a real delicacy. A lot of tasty dishes can be made from a rabbit, it is similar in composition to chicken, but the taste is still different.

What rabbit meat dishes can be cooked.

The rabbit is tasty and fried and stewed. and baked in the oven. Some do not like the smell of rabbit, so when cooking, you can use a lot of different seasonings. it is also good to marinate meat in wine, fruit vinegar or kefir. Then it becomes even more tender.

Rabbit stew with sour cream and mushrooms.

Ingredients:

Rabbit - back;

Sour cream - half a liter;

Apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp. l .;

Salt, pepper to taste;

Onions - 2 pcs .;

Carrots - 2 pcs .;

Garlic - 3 cloves.

Champignons - 0, 5 kg

Cooking:

Dilute the vinegar in the water and soak the rabbit for a couple of hours. After that, divide it into portions, rub each with a mixture of salt, pepper and garlic and let it soak for another hour.

Put the slices on a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil and fry quickly. Cut onions not too small, rub the carrots on a grater. Mix vegetables and fry, you can use butter, in which the rabbit was fried. Now lay out the rabbit pieces and vegetables in a saucepan. Top layer of fried mushrooms and sour cream. It remains to cover and simmer for 40 minutes until ready. It turns out very tasty.

Rabbit in the oven.

Ingredients:

Bunny rabbit;

0, 5 liters of kefir, you can use homemade yogurt;

Spices - salt, pepper, Provencal herbs, cloves and ginger;

Garlic - 2 cloves.

Cooking:

Stir in spices with kefir and spread the rabbit carcass with this mixture. Leave to marinate for three hours. Then wrap in foil and place in preheated oven for 1 hour.

Rabbit cutlets.

Ingredients:

Minced rabbit meat - 0.5 kg;

Barley groats - 2 tbsp. l .;

Cream - 1/3 cup;

Onion - 1 pc;

Salt, pepper to taste;

Frying oil;

Breadcrumbs;

Cooking:

In the stuffing add finely chopped onion, salt, pepper, pour in the cream and add the yachka. All mix well and form burgers. Roll them down in breadcrumbs and fry until cooked. Cutlets are obtained air and do not fall apart.
