In general, we have in Russia are not very common dishes from corn, as we say, in Abkhazia, Moldova or Mexico. We are more accustomed to the canned product or boiled, on the cob. But so much delicious can be prepared from the “Queen of the Fields”. I offer you dishes from corn, recipes that are loved by everyone in my family.

I must say, for these recipes you need corn of milk maturity, when the seeds are young, soft and juicy.

Corn soup in meat broth.

Ingredients:

Beef - 300 gr;

Corn (grain) - 500 gr;

Medium carrots - 1 pc;

Potatoes - 3 pcs;

Small tomato - 1 pc;

Onion - 1 pc;

Adjika - half a teaspoon;

Garlic - to taste;

Salt, pepper - to taste;

Greens (cilantro, parsley, green onions);

Spices to taste - I use hops-suneli.

Preparation: Boil the broth from the pieces of beef. Add diced potatoes and corn kernels, cook for 15 minutes. At this time, fry the onions in the skillet, cut into half rings and carrots, rubbed on a large grater. There we also add chopped tomato, adjika and garlic pounded with salt, add seasonings. Put the roasted vegetables into the pan 10 minutes before cooked. before serving, add chopped greens to each plate. Corn on the cob with butter and cheese.

I brought this recipe from Ukraine. It seems to be nothing complicated, but it turns out very tasty.

Ingredients:

Young corn - 5 cobs;

butter - 100 g;

hard cheese - 100 gr;

salt to taste

Preparation: Peel the corn cobs, fold them into a saucepan, cover them with peeled leaves and pour water over them. Boil for an hour. While cooking, grate cheese. When the cobs are ready, take them out and immediately coat with oil and sprinkle with cheese. salt to taste.

Salad with crab sticks and corn.

Very tasty and unusual, eaten in 5 minutes.

Ingredients:

Crab sticks - 200 gr;

Corn - 1 small can;

Orange - 1 pc;

Eggs - 4 pieces;

Garlic - 1 clove;

For refueling, I use sour cream, but you can and mayonnaise 100 grams;

Salt, pepper to taste.

Cooking: boil eggs and cut into cubes, chop crab sticks into slices. Peel the orange, cut it into slices and cut each into three pieces. Garlic pass through the crush. All combine, add salt, pepper and season with mayonnaise or sour cream.
