Prepare today green borsch with tomato paste and beetroot. This soup must be able to cook every housewife in any interpretation. After all, one of the first greenery that appears after a long winter is sorrel. Green borscht can be cooked not only with sorrel, they also use spinach, young nettles. But sorrel, is still present.
In our recipe for greens all available - sorrel and green onions. You can add parsley, dill, spinach and even wild garlic. To borsch was beautiful and satisfying, we will add to it beets and tomato paste. Tomato juice is not worth adding - soup will be very sour, if there is no tomato paste, do not add anything.
We will prepare in the Philips 3036 multicooker. This model has only the function “Cooking” in programs. If you have a “Soup” program, use it.
Ingredients:
Broth - 3 liters
Potatoes - 5 pcs.
Onions - 1 pc.
Small beets - 1 pc.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Sorrel - 2 bunches
Green onions - 1 bunch
Tomato paste - 1 tbsp. l
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l
Salt to taste.
Recipe:
First put stew broth. Put the meat in the bowl, fill it with water. Immediately salt and close the multicooker lid. Select “Boil” mode for 1 hour.
After we take out the meat and while we pour the broth.
While the broth is boiling, peel and chop the onions, carrots and beets. Cut into strips or cubes.
In the bowl of the multicooker we pour in vegetable oil and lay out all the vegetables for zazharki. Turn on the mode “Fry”.
After 10 minutes, we spread tomato paste to the vegetables. Do not forget to stir vegetables, because even in a slow cooker, they can burn, if they do not interfere.
We clean the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Putting potatoes to roasted vegetables.
Fill the future borsch with broth or water if you are cooking lean borsch.
Close the lid and select the “cook” mode for 30 minutes. While the soup is boiling, boil the eggs either on the stove or do it in advance in the slow cooker.
Rinse sorrel and green onions under running water and chop.
Add greens at the end of the program.
Immediately add the boiled eggs, cut into cubes. Try the soup with salt. If everything is normal, close the lid and leave the borscht in the “Heating” mode for another 10 minutes.
Green borsch is ready. Give him crackers. Enjoy your meal.
