A way to make beetroot salad with garlic and walnuts “Bordeaux”
Pickled cucumbers and beets rubbed on a large grater.
Prunes, if hard, steamed beforehand, pour boiling water for 5 minutes. If soft, immediately cut into slices.
We clean the walnuts from the shell and chop them with a knife (if you want large pieces) or by rolling with a rolling pin on the plank (if you like nuts, but do not want them to crunch on the teeth in the finished salad).
Peel the garlic from the husk and rub it on a fine grater or chop it in the garlic press.
Add prunes, nuts, garlic, salt to the salad. Salt a little bit, try, because we already put salted cucumbers in the salad. Everyone knows that “nedosol is on the table,” but you know where the salting is.
Fill with sour cream and mix. Mayonnaise is also suitable, but with sour cream, in my opinion, much more useful. And just as tasty.
Salad “Bordeaux” - a universal addition to any side dish: mashed potatoes or fried potatoes, cereals, pasta.
