
Having frozen the whole beans for the first time, in its raw form, I lost a desire to have something in common with it, I used it only raw, adding to vegetable soup, and, perhaps, everything. That bean was tough, and it had to be boiled, and then added somewhere else.
But one day, when I came to visit a friend, and she’s obsessed with a healthy lifestyle, and cooks only homemade food - she treated me to an omelet with green beans. It was overwhelmingly tasty, but since it was early spring outside, the beans were obviously frozen. I, of course, clarified whether it is purchased. And I heard a proud statement that she had everything at home, and the beans as well.
After that, I rewrote the recipe and freeze green beans for two years, the recipe is a bit troublesome, but the result will surpass all your expectations.

Preparation of green beans for freezing:
The most important thing is to choose high-quality beans. It must be very soft so that it can be cut through with a fingernail. The size of the beans - the minimum, they are no more than rice grains. The pod breaks easily with one finger.
Cut the edges of the pod. There are solid, not edible tails.

Cut into small pieces, 3-4 cm long.

We put them in boiling water, salt them at will and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Strain and fill with very cold water. Add ice for speedy cooling. This preparation for freezing greatly affects the taste of beans.

Once the pods have become cold, we filter them through a sieve or a colander and allow time to drain.

Fold on a tray covered with a towel or paper so that the pods become completely dry. In this form, it can send to freeze.

After 3-4 hours, we put them in bags for long-term storage with special clasps. They are denser than normal and will not tear in the freezer.

Store all winter in the freezer, use in soups, omelets, vegetable stews and salads.
