In the refrigerator, the finished dish can be stored for about 10 days, no longer worth it, it is better to shift into containers and freeze.

It is convenient to cook such a stew in a half-liter jar, just two portions per jar. I have 6-8 cans in the oven at one time, depending on the amount of meat and vegetables.

  • 1.5 kg of chicken fillet;
  • 200 g onion;
  • 30 grams of dried carrot;
  • 1.5 kg of potatoes;
  • 1 head of garlic;
  • salt, bay leaf, black pepper, vegetable oil, water.

Immediately prepare the container. Banks carefully wash with warm water, rinsed with boiling water. At the bottom of each jar pour a tablespoon of olive or vegetable oil.

We cut onions, pour an equal amount of chopped onions into each container.

We clean the potatoes from the peel, cut into large cubes. In the summer, you can prepare a dish with small young potatoes; you do not need to clean it, you just need to wash it with a brush. Put a layer of potatoes on a layer of onions. First, lay out about half the potatoes.

Chicken breast fillet cut into large pieces, in size they should resemble potato cubes. Add chicken to potatoes.

Peel the head of garlic from the husk. Peeled cloves we press with a knife. We put 1-2 cloves of garlic, 2 bay leaves in each jar, pour a few peas of black pepper.

Next, pour into each jar 2-3 teaspoons of dried carrots and table salt to taste. It is important to fill the container for homemade chicken with potatoes in a 2/3 volume jar, and leave 1/3 empty.

Then pour warm water, about 50 ml per can, no longer need, moisture will be released from the meat and vegetables during the cooking process.

Now we screw the jars of chicken and potatoes with lids and shake well, so that the salt and seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the whole volume. Then remove the lid, cover the jars with foil.

Set the grid to an average level of the oven. On the grid put the banks, covered with foil. Push the grill and turn on the heating to a temperature of 170 degrees Celsius.

Important! We put blanks without lids in a cold oven!

When the oven reaches the right temperature, you can see how the contents boil.

Cooking 45 minutes, if the boiling is strong, you should slightly reduce the heat.

Screw the lid tightly, turn the jars upside down on the lid, cover with a rug. After cooling down, put it in the fridge or in the cold cellar.

For long-term storage, such blanks can be sterilized (cans with a capacity of 0.5 l - 25 minutes). However, in our time, in my opinion, this is not relevant, it is always better to cook fresh food.
